Week 46(14th June — 20th June)
Beginning of this week i finalised the arrangements for me to pop over to LA library to view the tablets. I’ll be going Wednesday, the same day and time members of our team will already be down there to open up our Littlehampton library outreach
This week I also finished the Selsey funding application, the Selsey application was a bit more in depth than the others I had completed, asking how our project would fit in with the Selsey town councils 2021–202 business plan.
I also helped Luca prepare for the covid-19 financial impact meeting next week, just the agenda so far, making sure it looked the best it could be.
This week I also attended the library, this went really well, I checked over the iPad, made sure it could access Attend Anywhere, as well as checked the headphone slot. The only thing I initially had problems with was accessing the internet as a pop up was supposed to appear so I could accept the terms and conditions and then use the wi-fi. However this didn't happen, I did approach one of the library staff and they were able to resolve in a matter of minutes, so no real problems.
I also attended a webinar on Ageing in Coastal and Rural Communities report. This was really interesting and gave me great insight into aspects of rural or costal communities that I didn't have before. I’m sure the content of the report and the webinar will help me with future funding bids/proposals.
Towards the end of the week Luca and I had a meeting with Gareth and Jackie from West Sussex libraries. This was a really great meeting, I was able to update everyone on how my library visit went on the Wednesday and we were all able to finalise the smaller details of the proposal.
I also had a meeting to go through another personal risk assessment for an adviser returning to Bognor. This went really well, no complications to the process and the adviser was really excited to be getting back to face-to-face services.
